0G Airdrop Launches, but Community Reports Claiming Issues!

The 0G Foundation, the governing body for the 0G ecosystem, has officially launched an airdrop for its native $0G token on September 22, 2025, and the recently launched airdrop is the 42nd HODLer airdrop on Binance. The 0G Foundation and 0G airdrop became a topic of discussion within a short period of time after their airdrop launch. The community members reported claiming issues on the official website, and the 0G Foundation has publicly acknowledged and addressed the problems, and they assured that they would work through the reported issues.  

The 0G Foundation tweeted on X that if you ran into any issues, they would work through them one by one soon, and that your support meant the world to them. They added that together, they would continue to grow stronger and fulfill their mission. 

What is 0G Airdrop

The 0G Foundation, a platform that aims to build and maintain the world’s first decentralized AI Operating System (dAIOS), has decided to organize an airdrop campaign, designed to distribute its $0G tokens to all the participants who have contributed to the network and the entire ecosystem. 0G is a decentralized modular AI blockchain, and the newly launched airdrop is to decentralize the network by empowering the community with their native $0G tokens. The eligibility criteria for the 0G airdrop will be based on the various contributions made over an extended period of the project’s development. 

Following the launch of the 0G airdrop on September 22, multiple users reported issues like technical glitches on the claim page, complications with the mandatory KYC processes, etc. the team behind the 0G Foundation has already initiated the recovery processes, like restoring operations of the network using temporary safeguards and launching exclusive RPC nodes to stop any kind of issues in the future.      

Why are Some People Having Trouble Claiming the 0G Airdrop?

The 0G network users have reported multiple issues related to the functioning, including claiming their tokens and the KYC requirements. The users on the social media platforms are fuming because of these technical issues, and some of them are even accusing the project of being a scam. The 0G foundation acknowledged that users might encounter problems with the claiming interface of the website, and they have already committed to resolving the problem as soon as they can.  

Goldenwave, a financial service firm, commented that they needed help and that there was a serious problem. They mentioned that the website showed the claim was complete, but they hadn’t actually received any tokens. They added that there was no actual transaction processed, yet the website said the claim was complete.  

Another network user also commented that many of them had not received the airdrop immediately, but instead had entrusted nodes first. They added that their airdrop showed 0 and that the entrusted nodes could not be canceled either. They asked for help to solve the issue of entrustment.

How to Address 0G Airdrop Claiming Issues?

To address the claiming issues in the 0G airdrop, the first thing you need to do is wait for the fix or a serious response from the project authorities. The 0G Foundation is already aware of these problems, and they will come up with a possible long-term solution. Eligible users who run into these kinds of issues are advised to wait for a certain period of time until they resolve them.

Beware of all the possible scams associated with the 0G airdrop is the next step you need to take. There is a chance of introducing fraudulent projects using the name of the 0G Foundation; people will easily connect the fraudulent projects with the original one, since there are issues associated with the airdrop claiming process floating around it.
